SuperSic Malaysia Marks Major Milestone With Topping Off Ceremony

SuperSic Malaysia (超瑞马来西亚), a subsidiary of Zhejiang Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical (浙江晶盛机电), has successfully achieved the topping-out milestone for its new manufacturing facility at Penang Technology Park @ Bertam.

This development marks SuperSiC’s first overseas manufacturing presence in Southeast Asia and represents a strategic step in JSG’s global expansion, reflecting strong confidence in Penang’s industrial ecosystem and investment climate.

Following Phase 1 completion, the facility is targeted to produce 240,000 units of 8-inch silicon carbide (SiC) wafers annually, supporting the growing global demand for high-performance semiconductor solutions in EVs, energy, and advanced electronics.
